About Dr. Brown
Dr. T. Cedric Brown has a deep passion for servant leadership, cultivated through more than 30 years of service in both marketplace and ministry settings. From 1994 to 2021, he served in ministry at Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church, where his commitment to excellence shaped his leadership and influence. Out of that dedication, he authored Ministry of the Towel: Serving God by Serving Others, a practical guide for those who desire to excel as influencers, shapers, and culture changers.
Currently, Dr. Brown serves on the Ministerial Ministry at First Baptist Church of Glenarden International and as a Staff Counselor at Hope Counseling and Coaching Center, an entity of First Baptist Church of Glenarden International.
A consecrated Bishop in the Lord’s Church, Dr. Brown served as Dean of the Adjutants Academy of the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishops from 2008 to 2019. He also served within Mt. Calvary Holy Church of America, Inc. as Jurisdictional Bishop for Florida and Barbados. His additional assignments included General Secretary, Second Vice Bishop, and Vice Bishop.
Dr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina A & T State University, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Human Services from Regent University, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, with a concentration in Leadership Development and Organization Dynamics. He completed a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, PA. Dr. Brown currently holds credentials as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
Beyond his professional work, Dr. Brown treasures time with his eloquent and beautiful wife of more than 37 years, Dr. Bobette Brown. Together, they have built a legacy of faith, family, and love as the proud parents of two adult sons, Joshua and Caleb.
Dr. Brown and Dr. Bobette Brown are also co-authors of Marriage The Wholly Hook-Up: Principles for a Godly Marriage, a book rooted in their shared commitment to helping couples build strong, faith-centered marriages. Their life and work reflect a deep belief in covenant, purpose, and the power of love, both practiced and lived.
